Internship Position


Based out of Monument, Colorado, 365 Performance provides a world-class training experience for the Colorado Rampage AAA Hockey Club, Division I and Division III hockey athletes, and figure skaters ranging from beginners to elite.  365 Performance looks to generate personalized speed, strength, fitness, and sport performance programs for athletes ranging from 8 to 25 years old and of varying abilities.

The dedicated and hard-working staff at 365 Performance is looking for Strength and Conditioning Interns that desire hands-on coaching experience with both large groups and individual athletes. Our staff is in search of interns that share these ideals:

This internship would be most beneficial for candidates who are looking to pursue a career in strength and conditioning, and are planning on taking a certification exam in the field. The internship available is a non-paid, 3-month temporary position that requires weekend and evening hours. As this internship is the perfect fit for a university or college student, the start date and total number of hours are negotiable. 


Responsibilities:

- Provide feedback on lifting, mobility, and warm-up techniques
- Assist in daily cleaning and facility maintenance
- Ability to communicate clearly and respectfully to athletes and coaches
- Enforce the rules and guidelines of 365 Performance


Qualifications:

- Must be pursuing or have completed a Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science, Sports Medicine, Kinesiology, Human Kinetics or a related field
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds due to requirements of the working environment  
- Preferred certification - CSCS through the NSCA. If the applicant is not CSCS certified, they must be willing to schedule a future date for the CSCS exam.  If the applicant desires a different strength and conditioning certification or career path, they should mention that at the initial interview so we can be prepared to help them with future plans and goals
- Ability to use Word Processing programs (Word) and Spreadsheet programs (Excel) is an asset
- CPR/First Aid Certification
